This past Sunday, July 18th, we had the pleasure of doing Vita and Vincenzo’s wedding at Land’s End in Sayville.  It is so funny how you can not work in a place for a while and then you are there almost every weekend, which is such the case with Land’s End lately, but we are not complaining as it is a beautiful place.  It is situated right on the Great South Bay with breezes galore, gorgeous scenery, impeccable food and service.  Marietta and Kathy, do a wonderful job as your bridal attendants.  Everything is top notch from start to end.  Anyway, you may remember Vita and Vincenzo’s wonderful engagement shooting that Rich did a while back in the city, if not, be sure and check it out on the search menu in archives on the blog.  It came out fabulous and was one of my all time favorites.  We started our very long day, in Ridgewood, Queens with Vincent and the guys.  When we arrived, the three ring bearers, Vinnie, Sal and Sebastian met us on the stairs to show us the way.  And, not that I am partial to the name Sebastian by any means, LOL, as you all know, it is my first grandson’s name, hahaha, there were quite a few of them at this wedding.  And, while we are speaking of my new Sebastien, Vincent’s sister had a baby on that very same day, January 31, 2010, so BIG congrats once again on their adorable baby boy!  Talk about coincidences right?  Here are just a few at the beginning of our day in Ridgewood, with Vincent…

Okay, Vita, don’t get mad at the guys for pointing at the “STOP sign”, as in wait Vincent think about what you are doing.  I had them do this pose and they all said “Vita might not like this one, Min, LOL!” so I told them I would tell you it was my idea for fear of retaliation.  See, Vita, you scare them, they are afraid of you, good job!  hahaha

What a cutie pie, our groom, Vincent, who, just like his mom, was always smiling.  Then, take a peak at Vita’s gorgeous Kenneth Poole gown, wooza….I [hearted] it big time (can you say that phrase, hearted?  LOL…

Whoever said you can have too much of a good thing, not in the bling dept., not me, not ever!

and what is good for the groom and his family is twice as nice over at the bride’s house in Middle Village, Queens!

At this point, on the street the neighbors were all gathering for a peek at the beautiful bride, and Vita did not disappoint.  You should have heard all the oooohs and ahhhs from the balconies!  Too funny.  The limos clogged the streets up for a 1/2 hour, LOL…

Just check out the car Vita and Vincent chose for their wedding day, a BENTLEY, not too shabby if I must say so myself, LOL…

The ceremony took place at Our Lady of Hope church on 71st Street in Middle Village on one very, very, hot day, 98 degrees, in fact, and sweltering, high humidity.

Love, love, love the matching monogrammed aisle runner and church programs.  Don’t believe anyone when they say the details don’t matter, they certainly do make the wedding.

Vincent and his best man, such a great guy, Sal.  Did I say I loved him…..well not in a “I’m gonna steal your husband” way, calm down people, just in a “he is the nicest guy and added so much fun to their day, truly sweet human being” kind of way!

Here is Vita arriving with her dad, who also is named Vinny.

I was glad to see her mom, Sarah, begin to laugh and have fun.  At the house, I think she was real emotional as seeing her first daughter embark on this, her wedding day.  She was always holding back the tears and solemn.  But, once at the church, she let go and you could see her then have a ton of fun!

This photo is just so sweet…I love it.  Here is the flower girl discovering her “Barbie bride doll” awaiting her in the pew, you can just see how much she adores it.  She wouldn’t stop looking at it.

Just check out this kiss!  This actually was the second round of kisses.  The priest said “go ahead, give her another kiss” to Vincent and by the looks of the head hold I would say he did just that!  HA

Vita is like “okay, okay, we are in church, calm down!”  Too funny, gave everyone a good laugh…

More details, a petal cone anyone?

This little guy, much to his mother’s disdain, was trying to round the spilled petals up, back in the cones.  Perhaps he is attending another wedding later on?  You never know when you just might need an extra petal cone lying around!

Off to the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale for some photo ops!

Our foursome, bride, groom, maid of honor and bestman, were having some issues when we tried to take this photo.  Seems that Sal and Carmela were being deluged with bees at this point…LOL….and I ended up with a whole series of swatting bee photos!

for our fantastic cocktail hour both inside and out.

and look with the addition of some mood room lighting provided by our great dj, and the gorgeous floral trees on the tables, how gorgeous the room looked.

Even the menus were decked out with orchids, just adding a little bit of glamour to the tables.

The trees were festooned with hanging mini candle lanterns which made the room all aglow….and check out their beautiful cake, with each tear decorated in a different manor, so different than the typical cake.

Right before the guests entered the room, Vita and Vincent voiced that they wanted to take a photo in the beautiful ballroom….

and then they entered for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. D’Angelo!

And, what is a big Italian wedding without a Viennese, really, would you expect any less?
