tyler turns two months!

Okay with the birth of our little grandson, I don’t know what it is, but my hormones for these little angels is going into overdrive!  It’s like I just want one, there I said it!  LOL………..  I can’t take how cute they all are!  This past Sunday Rich had the pleasure of shooting Tyler, the son of Lauren and Anthony (congrats you guys!) one of our wedding couples from way back in 2005.  They had the most gorgeous wedding.  I remember the whole old fashioned limo they had for their wedding and how it broke down right in front of her house!  LOL…………..  But Lauren was a breathtaking bride and Anthony didn’t look too shabby himself if I must say so!  They had called to do a shooting with him as he had just turned two months.

I had company and wasn’t able to be up during the shooting, but when I saw his little face, I was smitten.  What a cutie pie this baby is.  Rich had said that it had been a little rough as he was crying and had been to the dr. for tummy problems, so I didn’t know how the photos were going to be.

It can be very stressful on the parents during a shooting when their new baby is unhappy.  But when I looked at them, I was like OMG, he is adorable and was just fine.  We even got a little bit of a smile out of him at this age.  I had to laugh when I saw that Anthony had brought along a lacrosse stick for him to hold!  Guess we know what sport this little guy is going to play, LOL ;-)

So without further adieu, I present to you little Tyler, sure to break quite a few hearts in a town near you……and to see more of the shooting with Tyler, please click here.

gallaghers in sedona, arizona for a family portrait!

This past Sunday, one of our brides, Dawn Gallagher, now Eldridge, (although she is taking her sweet time to change it on Facebook, LOL) and her sisters and brothers and mom and dad met us in Sedona, Arizona at Red Rocks State Park for a family portrait shooting. Red Rocks Park, for anyone who doesn’t know, is a beautiful place for a hike or just simply a walk among the trees set by the gorgeous colors of Sedona. At first, the day was a tad bit cloudy, strange, I know, for Arizona, but later on, the sun came out bright and strong.  Some of these the colors were so beautiful and the backgrounds, that they almost don’t look real, right?

We did some of the pics in the park and then got in our cars and traveled down the road to scope out a few other spots. Lots of different combos………………

and the three siblings……

It was great to see Dawn and her family once again. They are all such nice people. Dawn brought all these colorful scarves for the women to wear, so we had a little fun with ‘em!

And what would be my blog without a little controversy, you say??? We are such “bad” photographers, we had them go “off the path” and stand in the grass because unbeknownst to us, there was one (1) little sign that had the words “do not leave path” in the most minute lettering you have ever seen. Before you knew it, a ranger woman was on our tails and scolding us!!! We apologized profusely, all of us, but I don’t think she was exactly catching our sincerity, LOL….. so remember, if you go to Red Rock State Park, “STAY ON THE PATH!”

Here are just a few of the pics, hope you like them guys, and as always, come on, pretty please leave me a comment ON HERE, all you photo stalkers. To see more of the pics, please click here.

keeley, lochlan and ashling, say “smile”!

We’ve been doing these children, well, ever since we did their parent’s wedding back on July 19, ’03.  Aly would call, schedule a shooting for Keeley and then be pregnant with Lochlan.  Then the following year, we would receive another call and do those two and when we would arrive she would be pregnant again.

Then Ashling arrived 10 short months ago and this was the first time with all three of them, and no Aly and Kieran aren’t expecting again, at least not yet, right Aly????  LOL………  But seriously, these three children are the most beautiful kids, and there personalities are simply adorable as well.  Every time it is time to say goodbye, Keeley wants us to stay and play.  She would go “oh please, don’t leave!”  It touches my heart, truly.

More news on this cute family, they have outgrown their present nest and soon they will be moving to another larger house in the same town.  They have a beautiful colonial home just brimming with love and it is in my favorite shade of blue and filled with French toile, my all time favorites, for anyone who doesn’t know that yet!  Here is the whole clan…

Here Lochlan is hiding behind the bedroom door while his younger sister, is playing peek-a-boo with the curtains, how cute!

Aly always has the kids dressed in the most adorable matching outfits that she gets from children’s clothing sources online and her props are always perfection, as she likes to get them little antiques that provide the best vignettes for taking photos, from the antique, red wagon, to the antique, wicker, child’s settee.

We hope you enjoy looking at them and without further delay, here are just a few of our favorites, and to see the rest please click here.  Don’t forget to make me smile with comments as they always brighten our day!
